A Hymn For The Vanquished

Into a valley, engulfed in wild blazing ashes, where time had ceased to flow
Amidst rose a stone covered with a mass of thorns
"Onward we march" yelled a man of honor
Men stomped on the sacred vale
Thunder has roared glistening on swords held up high
Until they dived into flesh.

The wind grew fierce, a storm was born
The sound of clashing sword, filled the entire night.

No one will cry, when we'll perish, under a storm of arrows
The end is nigh, thus it shall be, a last dance into the fray
The sun left us, dark is the night, filled out with fears
There it'll be born, time of contempt, an hymn for the vanquished.

The sheen of our armor drowned in a dim red sea
Pouring on the gray burned ground
The songs of the ravens came to our ear
Delighting every shades of it.

The wind fell asleep, a storm has died
The screams of pain, filled the entire night.
