Ale From The Gods

Today the gods have sent a powerful gift
A glorious ale from the Asgard’s realm
Away from thus godly path we cannot drift
So swig down your mead and pound on your helms.

So raise up your horns in salute to the gods
The allfather favors the brave and the bold
If you live t’ill morning against all the odds
Then you shall be welcome to their halls of gold.

Hail to the gods and drink their ale.

On the faithful day when you finally fall dead
Amongst your fallen brothers you shall go feast
Until it is time for that which we all dread
When Ragnarok comes and unchains the beast.

We eat, drink and fight until the morning comes
