All About A Baby

Will I ever get my shopping done
It's hard to find something for everyone on my list
The tree went up Thanksgiving Day
And I've been running every which way ever since.

In the chaos of it all
In the stroll or at the mall
I see a newborn fast asleep
And so at peace
And it reminds me.

It's all about a cold night
That's dark shining so bright
Angels singing good news
And it's all about a stable
And a makeshift cradle
Tiny heads reaching out for me and you
I've been forgetting it lately.

Driving back home it's starting to snow
While Christmas on the radio making me smile
And neighbourhood's glowing in pretty lights
God family coming in tomorrow night
And we'll spend a while
I can see why we get lost
And the wonder of it all
As the spirit of the season fills the air
But it's starting right there.

Dark stars shining so bright
