Asteroid

A crack appeared inside my heart
As you rushed it's final smile
It's hanging by a thread
And it feels trapped
It stumbles on itself
And it cracks faster than it beats.

Did I judge it wrong?
You shed my time and now I stand alone
I'm not the one who poured salt in your wounds
Deep down it never felt right as
You swore and you cursed
I tried to hold it in but my heart was
As heavy as an asteroid.

You're not supposed to make fun of me

And now my shadow screams

But now you feel it's fists pressuring your chest.

I gave you my all, there's nothing left
I'm ready to rewrite me
My thoughts are made out of glass

I sense a huge blind spot that floats underneath
Streams like water.

So badly I can hardly move
I've melted on the floor of what used to be our home
