I was born amidst the season of ice and sorrow
When the Sun denies all sanctity in life
And seals its radiant caress away from
Earth’s impenetrable grey blindfold.

A new breath embraced by frost
A first cry kissing the crystallized sky.

Welcome to my dominion, my time has come
Emotions relinquished, leaving void to reign
Colors of the past decay under cracking footsteps
Monolithic white versus shards of frozen heart.

Every poison I held within now’s conquering horizons
Countless mirrors of ice staring back at me.

I inhale the rage carried by gales’ wings
Vitric droplets flagellating skin and sight
From gentle anger to relentless fury
Burden of forgiveness once given, swept by a whirl.

Razorblade vortex dance of a frostbitten soul
The lowest of desires now go skyward only to rain back.

I see my hatred, frozen in time, hanging in wait
To be unleashed by the gravity of thoughts
Spikes and daggers of ice start a song unvoiced
As the blizzard arises from a short slumber.

Ripe fruits of the untamed permafrost now glitter
Gathering strength to grow into vengeful avalanche.

When everything is as cold as me
Remember that you took my last spark
When the darkness finally binds the light
Realize what you have made me become
When the absence of mercy oppresses any warmth
Abandon your shelter and face the storm.
