Note:
↑ したたかに [shitataka ni] - has a meaning of being calculative and determined when performing said action
↑ 'swollen' or 'puffy', usually used to describe puffy eyes (perhaps caused by lack of sleep or crying)
↑ 鳴く [naku] - the cry here is written as the sound animals make, as opposed to the 'shedding tears' cry in the same verse
↑ 腐れ縁 [kusareen] - an (undesirable but) inseparable relationship (gotta thank my friend for giving me that great word)
