Carnivorous Forest

A kingdom of trees
Where the dying freeze
Empire of snow
Where hungry winds blow
A massive graveyard
This land lies unscarred
Death reaches for the sky
Grasping the sun as it dies.

Godless and pristine
Every blackened tree
Wolves stalk prey by night
Upon paths of shining white
Soil sucks up blood
As the dead freeze in the mud
Cold rain pounds the ground
As wicked winds shriek around.

In the carnivorous forest
Underneath the snow and rain
In the carnivorous forest
You will never rise again

Far below the sleet and hail

Cruel land of pale white
Bathing all in dying light
Eternal death lives here
The only law that exists near
Bears stand tall like gods
As stars blaze high above
Elk reign here like kings
