Our race was born for warfare
We raid in far-off foreign lands
To bring their riches home within our hands.

We have no fear of dying
Our lives will end in fire and blood
We'll live and die as Odin says we should.

Allfather accept us into your golden hall
We'll die in your honour
Our names will never fall
Death is a better way than living as a slave
No viking should ever stay in chains.

We refuse to live in chains
It would be as Hel
For there's no glory in a cage
