Speed up and drive. Keep on driving, driving insane
The object's shapes are distorted by the night rain
The numbness of day passes by

Up the river of lights; the windscreen is bleeding red
I take another burst to nowhere. My thoughts are quite a mess
My only wish is to be walking and soaking wet
But the approaching headlights make me step on the gas.

Winding along miles of highway. Not to get home
A desperate attempt just to stop this crashing brainstorm
I peer into the dark
Counting my doubts and my losses, my thoughtless hopes
Watching my life going to ruin. Close to the top
