She turns on her radio, listens to the late night show
My teeny bopper show stopper really loves that rock 'n' roll
Well, I knew I wasn't dreaming when I heard the music in my sleep
And I nearly turned her out 'til she said in a voice real sweet.

She said

Late in the evening I turned the key and opened up the door
To my surprise there were thirty people rocking on the floor
She was dancing in the lamp light, showing everybody how to move

With every day that passes I wonder if she'll ever change
