È Accaduto Una Notte

Quel serpente si snodava
Avvinghiato ai sassi che
Non vogliono più quel sangue tuo
Quei due occhi ormai stampati
Là nel buio si stanno spegnendo
E nel nulla io vedrò
Percorrendo quella strada
Più figure si compongono per pietà
Nelle spire della notte io
Vedo un raggio là dal cielo filtrar
Poi nel sogno così
Ecco un'auto saltar
Giù nel baratro vita poi sarà
In quell'alba si dissolve
Quella parte di frutto che
Sta fuggendo dal presagio che la catturerà.

Impaziente ma
Cerco di afferrar le onde
Sulle magiche ali del vento
Il messaggio scompare
L'improvviso squillo
Era triste eco
E nel mio pensiero
La speranza fa fuggir.

Un boato si sprigiona
Un bagliore di fuoco
Che soffoca voci spente già.

The sudden ring
is the sad echo
that makes hope run away from my thought
A roar bursts out
a gleam of fire
suffocating already extinguished voices.
