One valley, sculpted
From the vast sheets of ice
Once towering above the gods
Laid to waste, laid into repression
A sight of greed before me
Left unto my child's life
A final wish of preservation
Among the chaos a glimmer of light.

Cover my eyes
A path of destruction
Hold close my inner child
A time for tears this is not.

One mountain, sculpted
Risen up from the depths below
A beam of light illuminates
One path, a chance to follow
One chance to recoil not
From the ugliness worn outside
For the deformation lies within
Deep inside a sea of lies.

I'll watch the fall of men
Inside it feels right
How can one share such love
For beings crafted of hate
I'll watch the age of man
Wither in the final lights
As a fire must slowly die
I leave this world behind.

Monster lying below darkness rising
Shadow ahold of myself, hidden in dark
The black is not an image, an image of self
The darkness reflected from hearts and feelings unfelt.
