Fading Lately

I've been finding reasons
To tell myself that I'm not really here or there much
I've been making scrapbooks
Of all the places I would like to go when I'm home.

And I've got ways to disappear
And now I can't find my way out of here
Am I really here?

I don't know where I've been lately
All I see is myself fading

I've been playing dress up
Trying to find a sweater that makes sense, given the climate
I've been wearing glasses
To let myself see the blurry mess, that I've yet to relate with.

And I've got ways to disappear
