Breathing heavily
Moving steadily
Stuck in reverie
Dreaming of the future
Wish it would come sooner
Need a morale booster
Prove Im not a loser

Taking baby steps
Growing to my strengths
Inches, miles, lengths
And progress soon will show

Lactic acid slows
