Forgotten Soil Of This Land

My frozen gaze
To the horizon
All alone on these lands
To be here, to live here
It's a truly an honour

Land of thousand lakes
Cold winds embrace.

Coldness dancing on the lake
From woods flows the fog
It's time when the owl's awake
In the rushes pike catches a frog.

My endless yearn
To the silent waters
All alone in the northern lake
To be here, to die here
It's a truly a dream.

Through ancient forests
My journey will go
And when I'm alone
I know that I won't fall.
