In the mist of the highlands
Lies a thrall with no name
I lay confined by these heathens
Reduced to rot in this cage.

Forced to fighting to the death
Mercilessly I slay
I ask not for this blood on my hands
Yet there is no other way.

The days continue endlessly
Far to the fringe of the earth
Only the progeny shows compassion
For all that it's worth.

In the wake of imprisonment
A vision enters my dreams
Metaphysical forces at work
Leading me to an escape.

The nithing pole now displays
The head of my captor impaled
Set out across this terrain
Only to be derailed.

The innocent one by my side
Approaching the bastards of Christ
The bodies lie bare and burned

The crusaders are weary of our origin
They gaze upon us while casting out their judgement

We sail out into the promised holy land
Directionless we fade into a cursed oblivion

Indicted for their failed pilgrimage that we detest
In cowardice they strive to kill us while we rest
Devotion driving men into insanity
Ill prepared, inevitable reckoning.

Brave men
