Galatea

The eyes I look through, indistinct, maybe
For all seems different, so different to me
The one I search for, never I've seen
All earthly, imperfect, unfinished, unclean.

Now I wander, trying to find
My perfect, my lounging, for peace or some kind
That calms my now restless mind
To show me the way, you've made me blind.

I turn and run away

A man made perfection, no longer alone

No altars filled with blood
No prayers to a god
No longer it can be done
It's all gone.
