Herald of Divinity

Let the skies fall down on me
Let the miracles fall down scorned
I, the one, the fallen from grace
The unholy sins of seeking the light

I, the godless entity
Of finding truth between the lies
Carve my wisdom upon your sacredness
Divine illusions obscure the lights

I’m the knowledge
Inside the hearts
Of hypocrites
Of all mankind

The word of truth
Of ancient ones
Spoken out loud
But you deny

The silence was deafening
Before you spoke my words.
I gave the fruit that dressed your minds:
The will, the choice, the endless light.

You took my scythe and planted hate.
With tooth and nail you took the land,
And spread the seeds of ignorance,
And burned the banners I bestowed.

This swordless crusade, it crucifies
the essence of illumination.
This herald of divinity;
it is as dead as me.

The silence was deafening
Before you spoke my words.
Turn my ashes to a frozen stone
And mourn me in the entrails of hell.
