Blossoming choirs

Far beyond our humanity

We bathe in blood.

The saturnine spheres of fluttering wings
Dusted wombs
Upon the ebbing auras they feed
Drawn to life.

Burning moths, we've set free
Illuminate the way
Across killing fields, once golden
