Life After Death

Here in the fires of hell that consume me
I'm walking asleep, and dead in this life
The fear rises up and it's taking control
Now is the time I must, break it's hold.

Breaking the curse and I'm finally free
Damnation of hell and the fires recede
Riding to glory with my head in the light
The freedom within me it feels so right
Riding with this feeling of hope.

As I walk alive for the first time
The fear from my past life now fading behind me
To life after death I march on.

Nothing in this world comes free
So a stranger once told me
Images of my old life deeds still haunting me
I must break this demon's curse again.

As I walk this path to eternity
I know in this life the work is never done
So I'll take each day as a new fight I'm in
Knowing that a greater purpose call out to me
That one day the wares will be no more
And every tear will be wiped away
So for now I'll fight the good fight
With everything that I have.
