Failure festers within us
The Neanderthal vision dwindles
Hanging by a thread
What's taken is not replenished
Mockery of the mother
Destruction of the self.

There must be a reason
If found under the anguish
Would it justify the wounds?
Redemption from this treason
Would take lifetimes of redirection in order to undo.

Bittersweet is the dream of all
To loosen work-forged chains
Reclamation of native lands could once be had again.

Sentinels of harsh obedience
Directing the pulse
Entangled laws in forced acceptance
Autonomy is false
The notion of independence
Spewed from foul forked tongues
Weakened men fulfilling orders
Are strictly pushed along.

Stripping the world of vital resources
Draining the young now to weak to stand
Malnourished and ruined, the cattle doomed to die
Barbaric and inhuman, yet willing to obide.
