All, all along the road I saw the signs go by...
Flashing dark dreams...
The owl of thunder rumblin'...
Engine whine, rain like bullets bang, flares of light
And a shakin' goin' through me
A breaking heart...
A sadness in the clouds, dark grey and bleedin'...
I'm gone down this road alone
Leaving nothing but a memory
A memory of gold
The gold night
A gold in a book, in a smile, faded now
Swallowed by the future screamin' up at me
I can't see nothin'
Just a hollow echo.

Filled with tears and fears
I see myself, and I don't recognize a thing

Time rolled back would start that show again
But, I know how it ends
A rose snatched away by a liar's hand
