Over Desolate Lands

Here I am
Spreading my wings
Over the lands
Over the seas
Greeting the dawn
Dancing alone
Over the planes
Over the hills.

But these lands are hardly breathing
Not a single creature living
Not a single word forgiving
From a single helpless god
Far beyond imagination
Rusty symbols of stagnation
Cruel signs of devastation
Of this sick and dying world.

Here I am
Embracing the cold
Hiding away
In whispering mist
Rains and storms
Following me
Faster than light
Faster than life.

Ugly clouds in poisoned air
Vast disturbance of nowhere
Blurry shadows of despair
Deadly plague in empty skies
And behind them dark and hollow
There is none left to follow
Endless suffering and sorrow
Dissolution and demise.

Here I am
Ashes and dust
In my empty eyes
In my empty heart
Rains and storms
Singing my songs
Over the lands
Over the seas.

In the frozen valleys dreaming
Over withered forests grieving
On the other end receiving
Only hunger and distress
On the path of thousand years
In the arms of slimy fears
Everything just disappears
To embrace eternal rest.
