Brothers and sons
Fathers and gods
Creators of time and space
The vision of our people
Who foresaw humanity
Fallen from grace.

In the void, a primitive being
Was spawned in the chaos of fire and ice
The antonym elements, forcing existence
Yet struggling towards self demise.

From this very beginning
Empires were built
Upon blood and bones of the fallen
In pursuit of structured domination.

Towards the ancient
Sunless shores
I traveled through the worshiped skies
To where my fathers strived
To leave monuments of strength and pride.

...All in vain.

Tyrant demigods still reign with bottomless hunger
A black hole, pressuring upon destruction
As the elements of life and death collide
We are the children of murderer sons
Legacy of the deceitful ones
Like vultures feeding on the dead
Ones death is another's bread.

So as foretold
The world grows weary and old
And the tree of life shall fall
As the fire becomes enraged
Turning from servant to God.

...Burning the idols of war.

Sisters and daughters
Mothers and whores
Defiled by their very own kin
The pagan prophecies
Show us the broken path
Of what might have been.
