Shapers Of The Longing

Blinded by the illusion of peace
A trail is left for no one to follow
For we are the bearers, the harvesters
Of the seed of destruction
Gifted with the innate capability to lie and deceive
We thrive feeding on the pain brought on to others
Is in our hands where we´ll find our demise.

Allied with hypocrisy, praising an entity
To justify our sins
Preachers of peace through conflict
Unable and willing to fill the ever-growing void.

We are believers of the only right
To stand above the natural order
Claiming possession over life and land
Crowned ourselves as the masters of all
Seduced and betrayed by our vanity
The pillars crumble below our feet
The predator became prey
Ignorant of the end that's drawing near.

Fear begins to crawl up their spine
When they realize they do not have much time left
They try to hold on to their illusion
Apathetic to know the wheels of their fate
Are in motion
Stepping on each other to survive at all cost
Pulled down by jealousy and hate of their own blood
The fight will end, when they are all gone
Once and for all.

The superior race gave birth to corruption
A false perfection, sickening this world
We are the ones that brought to life all grief and wretchedness.

Our dreams can take any shape
Different shades are painted within our soul.

Our grandeur will fade away
Leaving a deserted place
Guilt will find its way
When there´s no more left to say
Even now when all seems lost
There are those who still keep hope
For some seek to destroy
But many others seek to build-up
A world for those to come.

Our body is the bridge between reality and dreams.
