Shield And Sword

Cry of a raven
Has woken us in the morning
Old men told It was a bad sign
Red sunrise says that
Blood will spill today
Fear pierces hearts with needles of ice.

We're going from home
Back many to not return
Fear's storming our hearts
But nobody will stop us.

Our women cry
Tears flow from their eyes
They see off the man
How many can die?

Let's fall upon
Battalions of the enemy
Strongly holding shield and sword in hands
There is no place
For fear on the battlefield
When we protect our motherland.

Together as one
Let's stand as a wall
We'll take their lives
Or we shall die.

Lift a look to the sky
You'll see a bloody sunrise
You'll return with a shield
Or you will die on the battlefield.

You're as a blind
Lost In the dark night
Around only darkness
And there is no light.

Heads of enemies will fall
And when we shall kill them all
We will come back home
With glory on our swords.

We came back home
But many have not returned
Sore widows cry
