Tossed on the waves of a desperate decision
Lost in the rift between power and religion
Guided by God to the strength of a new mother's arms
Saved by the veil of her fostered illusions
A slave turns to prince in a kingdom's confusion
Was more than he seemed, and his dreams would sound the alarm.

They ignored the evidence, treated with irreverence

They're senselessly suffering? How many more have to die?

An army descending as Egypt deceives them

We'll walk through your waters if you will divide them
And wash all these centuries of tyranny into the sea!'
