The Dewerstone

Under the light of a frosted moon
A young traveler journeys on a road so cold
This place reeks of death on the path to a certain doom
He'll never see another day
The Devil stalks these woods in the dead of the night seeking out what's to be his next prey.

The howls of monsters ring through the land like funeral bells
At the side of the Devil walks unholy hounds of hell.

Through the mists Old Dewer spots the young traveler all alone
His next victim to be forced to the top of The Dewerstone.

Packs of whist hounds on his heels
Cloaked in a crimson hood

The young traveler accepts his fate as he knows he's out of luck
He turns around and stares into the depth of Satan's soul
His death lies in his hands as he takes the leap down the face of the Dewerstone.
