The Twilight Haven

Every day, in my way, fear plagued my mind
The dark is gone, I hear the song, The piper's call
I clear the way, the path was made, it's far too long
In my veins, burning strong, here I may fall.

The sound of their hooves on the leaves
A death toll heard only by me
Sweet poison, grant me a passage to hell.

I turn from the cover of trees
And face which is wrought upon me
A stain to eradicate, night terror incarnate
Spawn by a lusting for blood.

Two riders stand before me
I have belayed my fear
This world of pain and sorrow
Truly belongs to you
Your thread has been cut through.

I have been drawn to lands unknown
The call transcends my soul
Through black and moonlit shores
I'll fight to conquer all.

The wind shall guide me home
To a place I call my own
The snow which paints the sky
A blanket which I rest all my fears tonight.
