Darkness leads me on, pushed by light
Boiling inside, heart caged by the fire
Steps swallowed by the snow
Where to turn, how to feel
The dark path to an empty place.

Hunted by myself, chased by my mind
Waves of darkness, dark light shows the way
Shivering muscles, tired soul

Searching, hoping for sunset
Pale light, visible darkness
Illusion, your inner demon

Shadows mark the snow
Squeezing the heart, hard to breathe
The darkness chases forward.

The thoughts seek a meaning
