A Voice Of Might

Clouds of mist spread uncontrolled
And cloak the mountain grey and cold
Bolts of fire from father sky
Pound the heart and brighten eye.

Chilly rattle of screeching wind
Shakes the pines with branches thin
Against the strength of graven cliff
He labors forth with fingers stiff.

Through stormy trail and over stony path
Anguish not nor tread astray
A clouded flame will light the way.

On jagged road and crooked track
A voice of might shall fill your ears
Crying out to scatter fears.

Winds of serenity glide on undeterred
Clearing mist, unveils the house of the unmoved word.

With weakened limbs and weary spirit
His courage driven passed its limit
He lumbers forth toward the solemn haven
That looms on the edge of oblivion.

A hidden sanctum of eternity
The ancient seat of divinity
Its courtyards fair, no storm can reach
Its high walls strong, no foe can breach.
