Beyond The Fells

As darkness descends
I cast my eyes
Across the land
To mountains high.

An eagle flies free
As the skies open wide
From pale heights
On wings of glory.

A spirit awakens
With the touch of the ground
The sound of the wind
And the sight of the sea.

Primeval forces
Set ablaze once again
The ancient fire burns
From deep within.

I hear the call
The call of the wild
Whispers eternal
Echo through time.

Immortal soul
Of ages now past
I heed your call
And gather my might.

Towers of stonе
Figures of death
Aspects of doom
Lifеless monstrosities.

Great chains of iron
As the wolf I will destroy
Enslavement no longer
For it is freedom I choose.

Landscapes of fire
Landscapes of iron
Desolation and chaos
Dark realms of despair.

Beyond these grim borders
I must depart
I must away
Beyond the fells.

Beyond the mountains
Beyond the hills
There lies my freedom
The land of my forebears.

For the journey ahead
Sure is my will
And brave is my heart
By moonlight I depart.

Across the dark
My steed rides true
Fearless and proud
Noble and sound.

There in the distance
The mountain peaks rise
As does the moon
Way up high.

Over the mountains
I must now pass
Through darkness I ride
Still led by the call.

On this cold night
The fire burns bright
Onwards I go
Through darkness I ride.

Faces of stone
The watchers above
Guardians eternal
Ancient and proud.

Standing so mighty
For ages now past
Ruling the lands
Wild and free.

Spirits of the mountain

Along hidden paths
And old roads abandoned.
