Conquer The Silence

Thrown into the dungeon by my own brothers
Is this an ultimate test upon my faith?

Now the prisoner
Of opened mind to be
I will taste the pain
Accused of heresy.

Will I ever see the light?
Is the God still on my side?
In the cold I have to find my way.

Drowning in scars that I bear
I have to conquer the silence
Through the night you'll be there
To comfort me in this violence.

Dusty air and stones
That soaked with human blood
And this place of filth
Contains no signs of God.

Crucifixes down the halls
Screams of pain behind these walls
Nothing’s holy in this place
Hell is here - inside those cells!

Will I ever see the light?
Is it God still on my side?
