Funny Things

Last night I had a magical dream
Beneath the light of the moon
I curled up on the bank of a stream
While crickets were whistling a tune
The fireplace had lit up the sky
A luminous mist filled the air
And suddenly the earth was alive
And music was everywhere.

And then a voice in a tree
Shouted to me "Wake up, get off the ground!"
Then a choir of elves started singing
And three elves started dancing around.

Funny things are happening
Out in the garden
Funny things are happening
Out in the moonlight.

Yes even Mother Nature was there
With flowers and beads in her hair
And with a simple wave of her hand
She showed me this wonderful land.

And she said "These are the sights
Of a kingdom that few have ever seen.
You can see them each night after twilight
On the banks of a mystical dream."

Beating day and night
