In The End

Winter's white dress over land and the sea
Mountains of ice all you can see
Crystals of cold rush in his veins
Taste of iron in lungs full of pain.

All his steps drown in the snow
Will to return killed by wind's blow
Far away miles out of sight
She follows his track
By the shine of moonlight.

Lost between trees frozen and dead
He hears her pleading speech in his head
For what he has done he has to die
Secret of blood guilt in his eyes.

Hands and feet start to get numb
Final prays pass the black tongue
Circled by ice surrounded by fear
He falls in the snow no one can hear.

As she reaches the end of the trail
She finds his body so cold and pale
His head on her womb she starts to pray
But the price for his life she cannot pay.

Snow stops to fall wind stops to blow
She knows his time has come to go
Her tears on his face turn into ice
She stays at him till the dead lord arrives.

Without her beloved she cannot be
She decides to stay to follow him
What in life was forbidden
In death becomes true
Eternal love just for them two.
