Lamprey Hole (ヤツメ穴 )

いつも行く公園に itsumo yuku kouen ni At the park I always go to
通ったことのない道があった tootta koto no nai michi ga atta There was a path I’ve never seen before
草だらけで整備もされず kusa darake de seibi mo sarezu With weeds overgrowing, and seeming unkempt
山奥に続いてた yamaoku ni tsuzuiteta It led to the back of the mountain

暇だったので通ってみました hima datta no de toottemimashita I was bored so I decided to follow the path

壁を見ると穴が開いてたので kabe o miru to ana ga aiteita no de When I looked at the wall, there was a hole
指をつっこんだらちょん切れた yubi o tsukkondara chongireta I stuck my finger in it, and it was chopped right off

怖くなったので帰りました kowakunatta no de kaerimashita I got scared, so I ran back home
嫌な気分になりました iya na kibun ni narimashita It made me feel uneasy
蛙が鳴いたので急ぎました kaeru ga naita no de isogimashita I heard a frog’s croak, so I hastened my pace
走ってたら転びました hashittetara korobimashita And tripped when I was running

友達に話したら tomodachi ni hanashitara When I was talking to my friend about it
初めて hajimete It was
一緒に行くことになりました issho ni iku koto ni narimashita We decided to go together

入ってみると中は暖かく haittemiru to naka wa atatakaku When we headed inside, it was warm
横にはビックリマークだけの yoko ni wa bikkuri maaku dake no Next to it was a yellow sign
変な臭いが立ち込めていた hen na nioi ga tachikometeita And there was a weird smell in the air

床の大きな穴に気がつかず yuka no ookina ana ni ki ga tsukazu I didn’t notice the big hole in the ground
床の穴から助けようとして yuka no ana kara tasukeyou to shite I tried to help them from the hole in the ground
落ちて体が溶けました ochite karada ga tokemashita When I fell my body melted away
穴を覗いたら溶けていた ana o nozoitara toketeita When I peeked, they were already melting away
