My sight returns to me
Shattered corpses of my past
Are littering wastelands of my consciousness.

Stagnant waters lay cold and lifeless
Beckoning me to drink
My eyes roll back inside my head
Awakening thoughts I dread to think.

Failure descends upon me
Enshrouding me beneath its veil.

Endlessly in circles, forwardness is failed

I thought time stood still, when it was I that stood paralyzed
Escaping reality never made reality stop.

Looming clouds bear no rain
Yet drown me in dismay
Trembling violently in pain.

As blood drains from my veins.
