Reapers Edict

I'm on the ground- wake up!
Time for another prescription
All that's left in my head
Is the echo of a liquid drop splitting
I can't feel a thing
Is this wrecked shell really my body
Catch a sight of hell
Another bite of the nine-tailed cat.

I smile back at the reaper's face as the bade cuts through my veins
Please tighten the cement sting that reclines around my neck
Shadow of the broken world that reigns above these halls
Hear your lordship shall be crushed as the reaper's edict falls.

Another day or week
Needles drawing into my flesh
Frosted teeth of demons
Crushing the bones in my thumbs
Weren't you the one
To predict mercy to this earth
Just another false prophet
Or a disciple to speak with forced tongue.

You want me to fall yet i will rise
When it's time to pay the ultimate price.

Deep within the dark
Where time lost all its meaning
I swallow my blood
Wondering why my heart is still beating
Found a knife shaped
Sharper than an angels feather
Gonna use it now
And then death surrounds my tired soul.
