The Last Day On Earth

A great flash in the sky, screams of terror around me
Skies turning black from smoke and ashes
The cold winds are rising, whispering of things to come
These walls are breaking down, no place to hide.

The waves are crashing in, drowning all in their path
Beneath the surface, no one can hear you cry.

Our time is running out
This is the last day on Earth
We brought this upon ourselves
Our time has come.

Maybe we can go back in time
And make everything alright
I don't want to die
There's nothing we can do
It is too late to cry
I just want to die.

The plastic mountains are melting down
A million birds falling from the sky
When the last tree is cut down we'll finally realize
That we weren't meant to say our last goodbyes.
