Hollow and broken

For greed and hatred over time
Have blinded the human kind
Now we watch this disease.

Crumble the world to its knees
We could have stopped

Why did we choose this path?

We stripped the trees
And burned the forests away
We claimed every inch of nature
Now there is nothing.

The fault, the folly of man
The sickness dwelling within.

Dormant for centuries
Avaricious and destructive
The desire to rape the earth.

Nature was barbaric
And disgusting
Where everything meant nothing
Now this empire falls.

This is a new age
Life has new meaning
Wallow in your pitiful waste
Linger in primordial hell

Free to do what you're told
