Diluvian Embrace

I know you not by name
And ne'er see you furtive form
Yet feel your presence among this abode of man
For in this place of many.

I see so few with raging hearts that beat like those of the gods
We are few and far between
(Many trials we have seen)
Forward pressed forevermore
I am passion, I am fire, and I am death to my core.

Deconstruction comes in small doses
For those who wait for fate
Fear not
For that is the road we all must take.

If were to ascend and reach the sky as
Burning beacons for all those
Lost to the tide
Wonder why; it is you felt the need to climb
That, mountain all others avoided like plague
To keep their breath and relinquish passion
As if it were only a small price to pay

I see the light you made

I am caught between the waves
lift me from this place
For i have not seen daylight
Since the day I turned away From you.

Though others will come and try to take me from this place
I will burn, break, and throw them to their diluvian embrace.

From sky crowned to water
This sign of slaughter
Has robbed me from the burning light
And brought me low to the confinements of this deep and dreary hold.
