Sign Of Slaughter

Forces of bleakness
They scatter amongst
The waves and the bow of this craft.

The rattling the gnawing
The scraping of bones
Against the island of jagged stone.

Bloodied and broken
And wounded I leap
From ship wreckage to cursed shore.

Stammering along the sharp rocks
Towards this cold end
My souls forever tormented, broken and bent.

On this outcrop I wait
I wait, I wait
For my end; my torturous fate.

Ravaged; imbued with all sin
Hallowed and begging for swifter death
In a shroud of night as dense as the seas
The force begins to drag me to the deep.

A coldblooded symphony
Crowns the night of fading lights
And through the silent waters of the flood
They slaughtered me in cold blood.

Under grey skies the bodies lay
And i watch
As the madness consumes me.

Suffering the full brunt
Of the weight of the world
The waters searching to drown
Life is a ship, destined to be cast down.

I'm stranded and waiting to die
On a cold outcrop far away from all eyes
I feel like I'm drowning in water
For this is the sign of my slaughter.
