From The Barren Wastelands Of Ragnarok

In an Age forgotten, that only Legend tells
An Age of Sword, an Age of Axe, and Dark Witching Spells
The sound of Splintered Shields deafen the Howling Wolves
As Dragon Ships give battle in the Northern Waves.

Fimbulvetr! The world is blessed with Frost
Thrice hard the winds do blow on the sails of the ships
And Man Beholds the Dawn of a Frozen Sun
Wolves cover the stars to leave the world in shadow.

And at the sound of the Gjallhorn
The Gods awaken..and so the Norn
In hands held high the hammer of war
Ragnarok Forevermore!

All bonds break, The Mountains crumble
The Earth will shake, and in the sky a deafening rumble
Rises Fenris, as had been foretold
Red Eyes Flaming, breathing ash and smoke
With Him wakens the Midgard, and slithers unto land
Spewing all its evil from its sharp and poisoned fangs.

From the top of the Ice Cold Mountains
The Frostgiants descend for war
Lead By Hrym they clench their weapons
They'll leave this field in Death and gore.

The Cavalries of Odhin Gather
Under This Bleak and Stormy Weather
Following the Spear made from Yggdrasil
The armies of Einherjar and Æsir.

With a sound like thunder the warriors clash together
With swords aflame and spellbound spears,Upon the field they scatter
In fury the battle rages and the sky turns crimson red
The jaws of Fenris swoop the land…Swallows Odhin from the sand.

Thor slays the Midgard beast and sinks the Hammer in its head
The Serpent spits a last drop of venom…Thor too drops down dead
At this the sky starts roaring and the clouds in two are ripped
Fire hails down from the heavens and burns the world into ash.

Echoes the sound of the Gjallhorn
Like when the Gods woke…and so the Norn
Seen in the Sky The Hammer Of War
Ragnarok Forevermore!

An Age deserted,barren and dead
On plains of the battle where the warriors bled
There sleep the fallen beneath the stars
Echo Dragon Ships that sailed the Northern waves.
