Grendel berserk, swelled with Insanity
A shriek of pain bedazzled the hearts of the Danes
As Beowulf ripped off the arm of the monstrosity.

The Desire of The Danes has come to pass
After a bloody contest between two titans
Hrothgar's Hall has been cleansed from attack
For Grendel knew he faced his death.
As a trophy of the battle the severed arm was hanged
For all people to witness this heroic act
For he spake truth when boasted of his feats
Of courage and valour of their Kinsmen Geats.
In the lake of demons, Grendel did lay
His ancestral fathers would curse this day
When their envoy from darkness, slain by son of man
Joined his cursed brothers in the molten seas of hell.
