Silver Frontier

The symphony of broken bones
Lingering in my ears
Their desolate song
Under my tired feet
Traveling across these mountains
Once mighty and strong
As unwavering as my faith
Both now shattered and weak
And bitter, I yearn for pain!

As mountains fall before me, before my very eyes
Breaking through barriers that once held me down
These walls are crumbling between the world and me
And for the first time I can see.

As I reached the summit
And looked down to the valley below
Witnessed the purification
The one I had forever longed for
God, I am ready
I'll carry out your will!

My feet carried me towards the raging flames
Burning bodies piled up, impaled and desecrated
My hand clenched around the hilt of my sword
I felt my blood boiling, and my hatred growing.

My blood was driving me onwards to war!
And my blade cut them down where they stood.

I saw the massive swarm of winged beasts
One by one, all men were ripped apart.

I knew this was the end, the end to everything
As I saw the seven beastly heads rise from the sea.

In the presence of this great evil, my body froze in fear
It was as if my body was torn apart by its piercing eyes.

The beast stopped and watched my petrified figure
Turned around and left me standing alone, on this pile of corpses.

All of us are dead.
