Temple Of The Void

I escaped the darkness hoping to enlight my soul. I sacrificed all that I built only to find an endless void.

A phoenix not yet reborn, the ghost of a bird that longed to be free only to find a cage without bars.

Not even flying but floating and roaming, aimless being not ready to cry.

And I wander in the empty halls of a shapeless monument and as my past seems to blur, my future becomes more uncertain. And I fear nothing is left of me, I’m but one more spirit in this temple of the Void.

Nothing left to feel, all passion turned to ash, tasteless pieces of life gathered to become a mountain of failures.

Nothing worth living for, nothing worth dying for, should I regret the pain? Maybe I will! Did I heal in vain? Who will kill me to make me live again?

Free me from the temple of the Void!
