The Faceless Men

All ambition to fail and we find comfort in a deadly routine
As our faces start to fade our dreams and hopes hang on the scaffold.

Some nights in my bed I hear words, a whisper from my childhood self
A past long since gone, have I lost the will?

I blend with the faceless men
Greet me for the first time again for tomorrow you won’t remember me.

In an aimless life I walk
Amongst hundreds on a traceless trail
A man with no face, I am no one.
