That Which Never Dims

Just as the mountains can´t prevent the raven´s flight
No memories carved and etched in stone will keep me
from tonight.

This foggy dark road, I no longer tread
Yet my lust for the night forges darker paths
Paths that led to dawn.

Now the flames grow bright again
And Burn To Guide this Swift ascent
To scald and sear away passions forged in summer days
Winter´s numbing glaze would finally breack.

In the evening red, the warmest nights descend
Those which have stoked embers anew
No sorrow shall I keep, as I´ll forsake the weak
And find my solace in the glow.

No loss precents the raven´s flight
As no memorioes carved can keep me from tonight.

This scattered ash christens an epoch new
And lays a crimson ghost to rest, relieved of wandering fugue
In flickerlight, black strands caress my wrists
With softest whispers is my ears reminding me of
That which never dims...
