The Doomed In Despair

Out of the darkness' evil bowels
Appeared the mighty slaying power
The clouds turned black and rain fell down
With drops of blood onto the ground
The men turned cowards almost fled
With all-consuming fear in their heads
Despair and gloom would soon come down
No living soul would live till dawn.

Axe of rage have led our men
To ruin the enemy's wicked plan
Brave men were grinding in the fight
To bring back the peace and light.

With hearts and courage of the dragons
We fought the hordes of wild pagans
In brotherhood the swords were sharp
To tear the enemy apart
Getting harder with each blow
One man's strength was running low
Morals down as if'd been cursed
No more hope, just blood and dirt.

A Place to hide was what he sought
Watching others die in pain

In dirt he'd rot, in pain he'd bend
Thinking of his shameful fight
His soul would never sleep at night.
