The Mountain Gnome

On the windy mountainside
Watch closely and you will see something hide
Deeper the tunnels go
Follow me to see what´s down below.

Deeper into the ground, something makes a sound.

Somewhere alone, lives a gnome
All he loved, turned to bone.
This has always been home
All he ever has known
but now when time has hunted him down
we meet his eyes when he lays down his crown.

When the mountain top is white
He's the last of the gnomes to believe this is right
Soon there´ll be a storm
Great machine makes the mountain warm.

Old dust starts to burn
Gearwheels starts to turn.

When the day has turned to night
He's old and one day he won´t see the morning light
The stories weren't lies
Wintegrim will see, when all its people freeze and dies.

The gnome has lost its kin
Killed by the men of Wintergrim.
